Came here in September and it was amazing to see. Definitely worth the drive, there’s a self pay fee of 18 to enter. restrooms are at the entrance not sure if there additional ones inside as I only went to the first area of the dunes.
There is a $18 minimum use few so you'll probably want to be there for the full day. Make sure you bring a brightly colored flag for your ATV, UTV or bike if you're riding. Be careful on the sand dunes there are steep drop offs where you can role if you get to close to the edge. It's a gorgeous place and during the winter there aren't a lot of people so you can enjoy the solitude and massive expanse.
The dunes are huge and sand mountain is an experience you have to try and see to understand!

We had a great time. If you’ve got four by fours you can take out to race around on the sand dunes. It’s a great place.
The dunes were great. Not crowded at all. But honestly, it was the campgrounds that made our experience so much better this time around. We stayed at The Oasis and it was so nice. And they have their own dump spot which is so convenient. Will definitely come back here because of the better camping experience
Vast dunes for all levels of skill. Off-roaders paradise. Can be hot and somewhat extreme in summer months. They do have water and toilets available. Oasis campground has lots of trees, facilities. No vendor services.
Magical Inverse oasis. Tucked between the lush and thriving Utah landscape everything just comes to a stop in these magical towering dunes.
The sand is soft and fine, there are usually people camping or offroading up the dunes but everytime I've gone everyone has been very respectful of each other's space! ☺️
There are these giant adorable beetles that waddle about peacefully.
I do recommend arriving before the sunrise or just as the sun is setting if you plan on doing photoshoots, once the sun comes up the temperature sky rockets and there are only two bathrooms for a very long while.
I also recommend driving out with a car that can handle the deep sand to prevent getting stuck 😬
My only grief is the broken glass, empty beer cases and trash that people have left, so if you want to help keep this magical place safe and sustainable please pick up after yourself 🙏🏿
Fun dunes. RV water fill and dump on site is a huge plus over Glamis!
